On most weekends you can find Robert ('Bobby') photographing weddings-either in New York (where he lives) or farther a field: in various locations around the US and abroad. Bobby finds wedding ceremonies to be more than just a series of actions, people, and images to be "captured, " but rather recognizes them as events full of deep personal and cultural significance, particular to a specific time and place and community.
As such, he assumes the responsibility of documenting these moments with great respect, believing them to be deserving of a discerning eye and an artistic hand. In this way, he hopes to help each couple honor the beauty not only of age-old traditions, but also the distinctive and meaningful celebrations fashioned by those couples.
