I'm Kimberly, and I'd love to meet you! At the heart of who I am, I thrive on on connection and genuinely love meeting people (almost as much as I love meeting dogs, but just keeping it honest!) I don't just want to capture how you look, I want to capture how you feel. This is why I believe some of the most powerful images are born out of truly authentic moments.

So whether I'm capturing your wedding day or creating portraits for you or your family, it's important to me that you enjoy the experience. When we are able to keep stress and distractions to a minimum, you're generally free to be more present in every meaningful moment - and I believe that is when the magic truly happens. As your photographer, it is my commitment to you to always do my best to deliver a rich and meaningful collection of photographs - and to do so in the most enjoyable way.

read more › Thanks for taking the time to get to know a bit more about me and my business. It's been about twelve years since I left my graphic design job in the corporate world to pursue this adventure as both an artist and small business owner - and I've never looked back! A lot has changed in that time, but after hundreds of weddings and portrait sessions, I can say with sincerity that I still love what I do. I recognize that this is truly a gift in itself and I'm thankful for it every day. I've been told I wear my heart on my sleeve - guilty as charged.

I'll capture a mix of impromptu candid moments as well as gently guided and posed group portraits. Here are just a few of my favorite images from family portrait sessions over the years. Shoot me an email to say hello or request to see a full client gallery.

I've enjoyed working with many small local businesses as well as large high profile brands including Lululemon Athletica and CrossFit Inc. Whether you are in need of a new headshot, or looking to create a more robust library of engaging content to promote your brand, I'd love to chat with you.

In addition, all couples who choose to book their wedding day with me receive a complimentary hour towards their engagement session. It's such a great way for us to break the ice and all get to know one another before the big day! Also included is consultation time to go over any scheduling or timeline questions you may have for me to help make your wedding day as smooth as possible.

read more › When I met her in person she was so sweet and had a beautiful studio in Grandview. She was very organized and helped us figure out what we wanted photos-wise, but she also worked with us to put together a wedding day timeline and think through what was important to us on our day. Hiring Kim was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. I was very picky when it came to a photographer, and as soon as I saw Kim's work, I knew she was who I wanted to photograph my wedding day. Kim has a combination of effervescent personality and photographic creativity that make her an outstanding choice.

Every custom album, book or wall portrait that comes out of my studio is a truly custom piece of fine art. I design it for you and your family. Exceptional presentation, attention to detail, and quality materials are all very important to me. I take a minimalist approach to the design to really allow the photos to tell your story.
