My name is Sheila Risi, owner of Reno Tahoe Event Florist.
I developed a passion for flowers over 20 years ago, in 1990 when I started arranging flowers at a small shop in South Lake Tahoe and I have been designing ever since.
I opened my own retail shop, North Tahoe Florist in Kings Beach.
Ca in 1998.
After many successful years as a retail florist in the Lake Tahoe area, I decided to take a break and start a family.
In 2005 the Risi family moved to Reno, expanding the business and changing the business name to Reno Tahoe Event Florist.

She was available when called upon, answered every question we had, knowledgeable of bride's wishes and prompt on the day-of delivering her role as the florists with beautiful, fresh flowers and a desire to help out with everything from setup of centerpieces to pinning of boutonnieres.
Shelia was a joy to work with and I would recommend and refer her to all my brides.
Living in the Bay Area and planning our wedding, I was hoping for a certain aesthetic that I was having a hard time explaining to many vendors up in the Tahoe area, particularly florists.
