While serving his country he was a finalist in a competition for the United States Air Force Tops in Blue, a touring variety show.
He is a Motown and Atlantic Records recording artist having shared the stage with The Ohio Players, Taylor Dayne, Al B. Sure, Chris Rock, Sinbad, War, Miles Jay, and Millie Jackson, just to name a few.
