I'm a Charlotte wedding photographer serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and international wedding destinations. Documenting your wedding day as it happens - the tender moments between newlyweds, the joy of guests, the bittersweet tears between parents, and all of the emotion wrapped up between you and your people on your wedding day. I appreciate keeping things simple and communicative.

If you need me, I'm here to help. I will guide you though the process, formulate a plan, work with you and your planner on a schedule so we can make the most of the day. My wedding photography style is both documentary and editorial. What does this mean if you're a bride or groom? Mainly, I'm confident in directing you through a series of images to tell a story, but I will also encourage you to be free, wild, silly, romantic, or whatever else defines you as a couple.

The day is yours to enjoy. I edit my weddings in a way that will look good forever. My photograph are neither "dark and moody" or "light and airy".
Services
I'm a wedding photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina who regularly travels to weddings all across the United States and international destinations.
I started with wedding photography back in 2008.
Sabrina and I live just outside of uptown near the NoDa Arts District and Plaza Midwood.
My pursuit of the arts began at an early age with many creative endeavors, most notably, drums, guitar, and a fascination with cameras.
As I transitioned out of the music business in my mid-twenties, cameras, and photography quickly took hold.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Most of the weddings I photograph are in North Carolina and South Carolina, but I'm available for weddings throughout the South, country, and internationally.
In 2020, I switched to Sony professional cameras, with a selection of Sony prime lenses and absolutely love them.
After 15 years loyal to Nikon I love the compact size and quick AF of Sony.
After a few years of playing drums in a band, I switched gears and became a full-time wedding photographer in early 2008.
Thank you for visiting!
I'd love to hear from you and discuss how I might be able to photograph your wedding day or event.
Wedding Dates are typically reserved 6-18 months prior to the date, but please reach out at your earliest convenience as I only take a limited number of wedding each year.
A contract and retainer must be paid to hold the date.
I think most wedding photographers would agree that Southern California is one of the best places for beautiful light and landscapes year round.
Sabrina and I flew out to LA back in November '19 with some great friends to attend our old band managers wedding in Camarillo.
After the wedding, we drove up to Santa Barbara wine country for some tasting and shooting.
Ben and Erica have been together for over 15+ years so we decided that this was the perfect opportunity to take some photos for them.
After a wine or two, we pulled over in a field at sunset to shoot their engagement session in Los Olivos.
