Many of my family members are excellent musicians. I sing and play my ukulele to continue the legacy my family has provided to me. I began performing Hawaiian music professionally in 2008 and since then, I've performed for over 400 different occasions such as wedding, vow renewal, and civil union ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, luncheons, welcome dinners, anniversaries, proposals, funerals, birthdays & private parties.
As of today, I continue to provide quality live music at any time for any occasion because it's something I love to do.

He made our ceremony much more intimate and our guests raved about him. He has such a great voice! Thank you so much for making our special day even more special! For our wedding, we wanted the sweet, soothing sounds of an acoustic Hawaiian musician and Kanekoa did not disappoint! He was prompt and efficient with all our communications pre-wedding and on the day he showed up on time, dressed handsomely and entertained the guests with his lovely gentle music.

For the processional, I make a smooth transition to performing "The Hawaiian Wedding Song" in the English language as the wedding party and bride walk down the aisle. This song is the most fitting song to begin all wedding ceremonies here in Hawaii because of the ambiance it provides to the natural surroundings and its appropriateness.
