My name is Frances Kelley and I'm the founder and owner of Frances Photography. It's an absolute honor to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos, boudoir images, fashion shots, and personal work with you. I also encourage you to visit the About section which is filled with info on my "why" in photography along with some fun videos of me in action.

My photography provides me an incredible vehicle to explore the beauty of love and diversity in the world. Love and diversity. Photography is my way to express my appreciation to humanity. I can't wait to meet you, be a part of your adventure, and work together with you to make something truly wonderful and put it out there. Beyond weddings, I use my camera to empower women.

During my own life journey, I've slogged through years of questioning my own self worth and beauty. I've battled, grown, learned, experienced, and matured into a place of strength and pride. I passionately believe my work can help women discover, perhaps for the first time, their true beauty.
Services
It's rare for wedding photographers to mention, let alone advertise the importance of the second shooter.
But the fact is, most weddings not only require an additional photographer, they demand it.
I believe teamwork is at the heart of great achievement.
After all, a single photographer has only one set of eyes and can only be in one spot at a time.
For each wedding, I select a specific second shooter from a small, select group of experienced Colorado wedding photographers - many of them lead shooters themselves.
I grew up in Colorado, oldest of three girls - all thrill seeking, adventure loving, wild-hearted women.
I snowboard, scuba dive, ride motorcycles, jump out of airplanes, globe-trot and dance like a boss.
My trusted sidekick is a Doberman named Bodhi who is absolutely part of the family.
Always evolving, my work has grown from classic, documentary, and artistic roots.
I deliver images that are striking and gorgeous with a nod to the classics that stand the test of time.
Many say that I'm at my best when capturing the authentic emotion, natural connections, and unscripted moments of the wedding day.
Many couples spend their budgets on the experience of the wedding.
I understand.
Music was incredibly important at my own wedding.
We hired an a capella group for a flash mob, arranged for various individuals to sing throughout the day, and selected the best DJ in Denver for the real throw down.
But I was not able to see the single tear in my father's eye and the smile of pride on his face as he walked me down the aisle.
Luckily, my wedding photographer did.
I ask you to take a step back and consider the importance of documenting this experience, the numerous side stories that will take place, many of which you'll never personally witness, and the art and beauty of this day.
Do you recall the classic back and forth between Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. in the movie Jerry Maguire? "Help me, help you."
1. Begin to develop a relationship with your wedding photographer well before your wedding.
The better we "click", the easier I will be able to capture the essence of who you are as a couple when it truly counts.
2. Make sure that your wedding day IS NOT the first time you and your partner work with a professional photographer.
You'd be shocked how uncomfortable, awkward, rigid and forced many people get when they're in front of a professional camera for the first time.
Entire books, entire classes, entire careers have been dedicated to defining, discussing, and debating the importance of fashion photography.
Without question, photography plays a major role in global fashion culture.
Our memory of fashion is really through fashion photography.
But some, such as author Nancy Hall-Duncan point out that fashion photography has sometimes been called ephemeral, commercial, and frivolous, and its importance called into question.
That fashion photography has a commercial intent implies that it lacks photographic and artistic integrity.
