Jason Switzer Photography
Generally speaking, there are two approaches to wedding photography. There's the photojournalistic approach that captures the emotion, the stolen moments, the energy running through everyone. Then there's the posed approach that captures you at your happiest, smiling and goofing off with those closest to you. I'm fortunate to find beauty in both approaches.

My philosophy is to look for the best moments - a gentle reach for the bride's hand, a quick smirk between friends, a quiet kiss between a bride and a groom when no one is looking - and capture them. My wife and I are Detroit wedding photographers based out of Bloomfield Hills in Michigan. Some of the most common cities where we photograph weddings include, Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Rochester Hills, West Bloomfield, Livonia, Southfield, Bloomfield Hills, and Birmingham.

I am also a highly sought after Ann Arbor wedding photographer who regularly photographs weddings around the Greater Ann Arbor area. I feel fortunate that you have stumbled upon my website and I look forward to working together in the future.
Services
Unlike a lot of other photographers, I didn't develop a passion for photography until I was an adult.
In fact, the only photos I really took before I started my business with my wife, Kelsey, were of my parents on their old digital Kodak point-and-shoot on family vacations.
But that all changed after I got engaged.
After I proposed and wedding planning was in full swing, my wife asked me to help her select our wedding photographer.
At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of photographers that were out there, but after looking at several photographers' websites, I started to figure out what kind of style I liked.
A: We have several packages, but our clients spend $2,875 on average (I know that's a weird amount, but you'll understand after you see our pricing list).
Contact us for a full pricing list.
A: Every wedding is different, but I would expect around 650 photos maybe less, maybe more.
A: Our base package provides 5 hours of coverage, but for a few bucks more, you can step up to 8 hours of coverage (which we totally recommend; you won't be sorry you did).
If you want coverage of the entire day, from bridal prep through people gettin' down on the dance floor, we recommend no fewer than 8 hours of coverage (especially if you have an uncle with hilarious dance moves).
