You can choose any of our 70+ Bella signature inks for no additional charge. For an additional cost, we do offer custom ink colors that can match anything: Pantone numbers, fabric samples, ribbons, paint chips. Any of our designs can be printed in one or two colors (or three or four!) depending on your style, preference, and budget.

read more › We create more than just pretty wedding invitations-each of our custom invitation designs offers a fully coordinating wedding suite, including wedding stationery and all the day of pieces that you'll need for your celebration. Need help with your wording? Let us help! Check out advice on wedding invitation wording, wedding response card wording, reception card wording, wedding menu wording, save the date wording, and more!. Typically sent 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding, invitations ask your family and friends to attend your wedding ceremony and possibly the reception too.

read more › Response cards can be enclosed with your wedding invitations and will help you determine an accurate guest count for the reception. Printed in the same style as your invitation, your reply card can be as simple or complex as your event requires. Some reply cards simply ask guests to reply by a certain date, while others may request a meal choice or dietary restrictions, and others might include multiple wedding weekend events. Make it easy for your guests to respond by including a printed, stamped envelope.

read more › If your reception venue is well known, you can omit the street address - but if you think some of your guests might have trouble finding the venue, be sure to include it. In any case, leave the zip code off of the reception card - the only card a zip code should be listed on is a direction or accommodations card.

read more › Direction and accommodations cards are especially helpful for out of town guests. If you've worked with any hotels to provide a special rate for your guests, these cards are the perfect place to share this information. Direction and accommodations cards also great to help guests find their way - list out driving directions or include an illustrated map to make sure no one gets lost. If you're including lots of directions to multiple locations (to the church, from the church to the reception, etc.), you may want to use a double-sided card.

read more › It's most formal and traditional to keep your invitation free from url's, so a website card enclosure is a great way to communicate your wedding website while still staying true to traditional etiquette advice. By providing a website card, you can constantly add online updates for your guests without needing to have all of the information surrounding your wedding weekend available when you print your invitations. These cards are usually small and sweet - typically the size of a place card. Your wedding website cards can simply list the link to your site, or you can elaborate on what a guest might find, such as directions, lodging information, or even reply information.

read more › Event cards can list the festivities surrounding your wedding weekend, such as welcome cocktails, after-parties, and morning after brunches. If you're planning a destination wedding, events cards are a great way to provide information to your guests about local hot spots and area attractions to help them make the most of their travel plans. If you have a lot of information to communicate to your guests, you may want to consider a double-sided card or tri-fold. If your guests are coming from out of town be sure to include the street address and city for each venue, especially if they are in a different city than your wedding.

read more › We can print program covers using any of our printing methods, and we can also print insert pages for your programs on our text weight paper. If you'd prefer to print your own insert pages, we have a wedding program template that you can use if you choose the DIY route. We can even drill holes in your program covers so that you can assemble them with ribbon or twine, or we can assemble them for you - we offer a wide selection of luxurious cotton ribbon. If you prefer the "no assembly required" route, or if you have a lot of information, you can opt for trifold or tea-length wedding programs.

read more › Excite your guests for the meal ahead by printing sophisticated letterpress wedding menus. Menus are a great place to begin using your married, 3-letter monogram. If a menu at each place setting is out of your budget, you can print a menu (or two!) for each table to share. If your guests were asked to select a meal choice when returning their reply cards its likely you weren't able to go into too much detail due to space restrictions and pending menu details. By including a menu at your dinner reception you can elaborate on the cow and fish icon by explaining the meal ahead in mouth-watering detail.

read more › Wedding thank you notes traditionally have the names of both the bride and groom on them, but you may want to order extra, as you'll be able to use your custom wedding stationery for correspondence and giving thanks for years to come. Once you've settled into your married life, remember first anniversary gifts are traditionally paper-so consider custom stationery as a way to commemorate that important first milestone in your marriage. If you're looking for boxed thank you notes, consider Smock, Bella's BFF and sister company, who offers a strong line of eco stationery goods, including letterpress thank you cards on bamboo paper.

read more › We know you're one of a kind, and so are our custom wedding invitations. Every single wedding invitation that we letterpress (or foil stamp! or digitally print!) is unique. Here's how you can customize our invitation designs. Inks: choose from 90 signature letterpress inks, 35 metallic foil colors, 93 engraving inks, or 88 digital inks. Papers: we offer two exclusive, 100% cotton papers that are only available at Bella Figura - Bella Cotton and Bella Smooth Cotton. Both papers are available in white, bright white, and ivory.

read more › Letterpress is a historic printing method. Because our printing is done on antique printing presses, each piece that we print will be subtly unique. No two pieces are entirely identical, and letterpress printing is not an exact science. Subtle variations in inking, color, impression and position are to be expected. These small variations are part of what makes letterpress beautiful. Go ahead and change the letterpress colors on any wedding invitation design! Wondering what inks will best capture your style?

Meet the perfect wedding invitation paper, made just for us by a historic European paper mill that dates back to the 1500's. The mill makes this soft, pillowy paper to our specification on cylinder mouldmade paper machines. Why go so far away for Bella Cotton? The ancient machines and expertise that produce genuine mouldmade paper exists only in Europe.

read more › Printing at Bella Figura comes in all shapes and sizes. Here you can see some of the variety that we can offer for different cards, envelopes, and wraps. We can cut rectangular cards to (almost) any size, but you'll probably want to stick to the standard Card Sizes shown here-especially if you're fitting pieces together or inside envelopes. Technically, we can print sheets up to 2230 inches. The size of the piece will affect the price. Double envelopes (inner and outer) are available in our standard invitation sizes: the F-8 (elegantly oversized and exclusive to us); the classic A-7; and the modern oversized SQ-7 square.

read more › Fonts on any of our wedding invitations may change at your beck and call. We've assembled a comprehensive font library for you, gathering distinctive fonts from around the world and from every era. Changing fonts is a free customization. If you're a calligraphy lover, you may want to check out our custom calligraphy styles as well. Not sure where to begin? We offer free design consultations after you place your order, where you'll have a chance to talk to our designers about all of your invitation choices (or if you need help now, just ask!).

read more › Before fonts, before type, before letterpress printing, there was calligraphy. Calligraphy technology has not changed much over the past thousand years-it's still made with a pen, piece of paper, and a talented hand. No two letters that a calligrapher draws will ever be identical; each calligraphy design is as unique as the wedding itself. We scoured the country to find the most unique calligraphers for our custom wedding invitations. True and passionate artists, they are dedicated to old craftwork and the creation of beauty.

read more › Edge painting has a rich history-for centuries, master bookbinders gilded the edges of books with gold, to show a richness. Today, we hand-paint the outside edges of our cards to highlight an existing color in your letterpress invitations or to introduce an entirely new color. Think subdued invitation with neon edging, or black letterpress with classic gold edging. Edge in any letterpress ink color we offer, plus metallic gold, metallic silver, and metallic copper. Custom colors are also available for an additional cost.
