Jamie just shot my wedding two weeks ago, and my bride and I could not be happier about the outcome. As a photographer, Jamie is technically excellent, and she's extremely detail-oriented, buttoned up and professional. As an artist, Jamie is highly instinctual, fluid and fresh in her approach. From the moment you meet jamie, you get a sense that she is one of those rare people and photographers in this world.
She's warm, friendly, approachable, patient, and incredible with children. We've had several sessions with Jamie and walked away from each one feeling amazed with her skill, warmth, and professionalism. She worked miracles to get my newborn and toddler to cooperate, and she created breathtaking pictures of our (typically very unphotogenic) family.

Sometimes locations and moments are 'light and airy', sometimes they're 'dark and moody', and I'm happy to capture them beautifully either way.
Being able to create meaningful portraits at any time of day is part of what defines my approach to photography, and my style.
I grew up along the coast, Big Sur and Monterey Bay (California) are still 'home' in my heart, but I have lived in Charlotte for 7 years and it is growing on me :) I keep trips to the carolina shores as frequent as possible!
