This allows me to produce quality photos that capture memories and provide great conversation pieces. I have enjoyed photography and meeting new people for many years.
In the beginning most of my photos were of my kids and vacation shots.
My first professional experience began 25 years ago shooting photos for websites that I design.
I learned the basics with a couple of small point and shoot cameras.

I use Canon gear that is serviced regularly.
I've recently added another Canon D7 Mkii camera to my gear.
I also carry backup gear including tons of batteries and memory cards.

Wedding days are non-stop, one-shot opportunities and your photographer needs to be alert and prepared to captured the moments as they happen.
Although there will be a few instances where poses and scenes are staged, the majority of the day is taking place at a quick pace.
Keeping this in mind when I am photographing a wedding requires me to keep a Plan B in place during the entire day.
Being prepared with tons of batteries and memory cards is a no-brainer.
I have extra cameras, lenses, and accessories, and a second person to help carry everything.

Private studio sessions are also available in downtown Rockingham, N.C. at Jimmy McDonald Photography Studio.
The cap and gown studio session fee is $15.00.
I'll photograph up to 5 different cap & gown poses.
The proofs will be posted online for print and CD photo file purchasing.
