People love telling the story of the day they met the one they love. It can be one of the most important and happy stories of their lives. The Story Rings wooden rings are all about valuing your story and creating a beautiful, lasting way to celebrate it. They are different from other wooden rings in that they focus on meaning. By starting with a story and building a ring around it.

The woods used and the way the rings are designed all tie in to the story that you want to tell. Just like the stories they tell, each ring is unique and one-of a kind. Every ring is a custom order. That means, from the first chisel cut to the final inlay, every ring is handcrafted with loving care for a specific special customer. Our rings are for couples who want extremely personal and poignant engagement and wedding rings.

We work with our clients to make meaningful rings with the woods and design of their choosing. They are perfect for anniversaries, especially the 5th or "Wooden Anniversary", and a great way to tell the story of your life together.
Services
It is the incredible level of attention that we give to each and every customer.
We limit our number of clients in order to focus on each customer and include them in every part of the process, from the inception of design to the process of building the ring.
Every ring client receives an initial interview.
This is followed by a design session that gives them the opportunity to make decisions based on our research and suggestions.
Once we decide on a design, each customer is kept in the loop with periodical updates on the process and progress of making their rings.
My wife is enamored with foxes.
How cute and elegant they are, their intelligence, their sprite-like energy, and their wild nature which can be tamed by those patient enough to take them as pets.
It's an interesting metaphor for her - someone who (at least to me) embodies beauty and elegance, but has a mischievous streak and can be crafty as a fox when she needs to be.
These rings began with a mother's love for her children and her love is the center and core of every ring.
Just as the Alder tree is able to absorb its nutrients from the air, making it possible for it to give its excess to the soil and enable other trees to grow, God gave our mother the special talent of being able to nourish herself and still have plenty of love left for her children, her grandchildren as well as her friends.
A reasonable estimate for a set of rings, a custom ring box and a written and framed story is $1100.
No wooden ring is invincible, however, we go to great lengths to give our rings the most resiliency possible.
All of our rings have a very durable and resilient finish.
Most rings have a metal core as well for additional stability.
I do my best to work with your timeline, but as a rule I ask for 3-6 weeks to complete a ring order and 6-8 weeks for a complete package order.
Other than talking to people and making my rings, wood hunting is one of my favorite things in life.
Keep it away from any solvents of any kind as this may affect the finish.
Some examples are: paint thinner, kerosene, acetone (this is contained in nail polish remover) and denatured alcohol.
Keep in mind that household cleaning products can also contain solvents, as do car polishes and cleaners.
Pretty much, if it is used to dissolve paint or dirt from surfaces, you will want to wear gloves.
The good news is that the finish has no adverse reaction to isopropyl alcohol, so hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, etc should not affect it at all.
For the first 2 years after purchase, any small defects in the finish of a ring (fine scratches or dings) will be repaired at no cost.
If shipping is necessary, the customer will cover that cost.
For the next 3 years, any small defects in the finish will be repaired at a minimal price.
For the first 2 years after purchase, any major damage to the ring including, but not limited to, metal and/or wood damage will be assessed at that time and.
If the ring is deemed repairable, the ring will be repaired at 50 percent of the original cost.
