Let's nix the stress and formalities. I've heard too many couples say that they wished they would have "done things differently". So.let's! Whether we hike through a forest, stroll through a wildflower meadow, splash around in a waterfall, camp under starlight, explore a National Park, helicopter to a glacier, off-road in Jeeps, pack raft in crater lakes, romp in the ocean, or sit cliff-side as we watch sunset together, I promise, your day will be unforgettable.

Let me help plan and tailor your elopement experience to be everything YOU. My friends call me Mer or Meres. Currently I reside in Chicago, IL, but I primarily travel for elopements and intimate destination weddings. I am married to my best friend, Ben, and we have two rescue doggies named Swift (after Taylor, of course) and Kato. Im pretty tall (5'11) and have the longest legs known to mankind.

When I'm not taking photos, I'm typically hanging with my friends, traveling, gardening, working out, hiking, woodworking, mountain biking, walking my dogs, or chillin' watching Netflix.
Services
I have been awarded Editors Choice Winner for Two Bright Lights and recognized with features in Glamour Magazine, Country Living Magazine, Junebug Weddings, The Knot, Wandering Photographers, Expertise top 15, and more.
I don't think I can put into words how incredible Meredith is.
She worked with us through our 6-week engagement, adjusting as the plans frequently changed leading up to the wedding.
She has the ability to make being in front of a camera feel natural, comfortable, and FUN.
She will do whatever it takes to capture the sweet, quirky, raw love of her couples.
There is a misconception that elopements mean "running away somewhere and getting married in secret".
While some people still think of elopements this way, this is no longer how an elopement is defined.
An elopement is just "choosing to throw out tradition to focus on the love you have for one another above all else".
It's a way of choosing to get married that reduces the anxiety and stress from outside opinions, and instead allows the focus to be on your relationship, your priorities, and your experiences.
