Perfect for any occasion, wedding and reception, birthday party, dance or business banquet, this unique space provides a marvelous opportunity to team up with your favorite design and catering team or have Firehouse staff build your event.

Functioning as a firehouse until 1987 when the building next-door burned down, Collette Parker Restoration has completed an amazing transformation into a lush garden courtyard, complete with a Greco-Roman folly, a mini-temple nestled in a setting of shade trees, limestone benches, fountain, birdbath and lots of flowers.Mary and Paul, the Collette and Parker of Collette Parker Restoration and owners of Historic Firehouse No2 since 1995, treat everyone like family.

They are proud of their turn of the century venue and love bringing it to a new century where it can become the setting for wonderful celebrations and the site of important events. They are continually making improvements to enrich your Historic C-Street experience.

Next, Mary & Paul began the arduous task of transforming the site of the Courtyard Garden, the buildings that had burned down.
It is believed that these buildings were Springfield's first Freight Depot where the arched openings that now open into the courtyard were originally where horse & buggy teams entered to pick up their freight from the trains just out back and exited onto Boonville to head north or south with their shipment.
After the fire, it became the defacto stormwater detention basin for the neighborhood.
Main Hall Rental Includes the entire downstairs and courtyard area.
Complete with baby grand piano from 1902, the same year Historic Firehouse No2 was built, a gallery area, a beautifully decorated gift closet, a sweet little DIY photobooth area, a buffet serving area featuring a 10' long antique counter, a beverage station, saloon area with keg cooler and refrigerated storage, two very large restrooms, one with baby-changing station and a spacious, efficient catering kitchen and recycling area in the back of the house.
Complete recycling program is included in pricing for all our events, no matter the size.
We are very proud of Operation Green Team; REUSE, RECYCLE, REDUCE is the motto of our system, operating out of our catering area.
Our team will remove and separate all glass, plastic, paper, cardboard and aluminum recyclables.
Food waste is contained to be picked up by local farmers for their livestock.
Since instituting our Green Team about 4 years ago, we have dramatically reduced waste from events by as much as 80% to 90%.
Garden Courtyard is perfect for outdoor weddings.
The lush landscape features blooming flowers and shrubs all year round; Paul Parker takes pride in crafting a beautiful pastoral landscape in the center of this historic urban environment.
He has made a perfect environment for a dramatic entrance by a bride soon to be joined by her new husband.
Step out to 6,000 square feet of lush garden through a 10' tall set of Spanish Cedar double doors and greet your guests in style.
Greco-Roman Sculpture by local artist Tom Ehlers, forms a romantic backdrop for ceremonies.
Select an Indoor Ceremony; We can bring your ceremony inside in a heartbeat if weather threatens or if temperatures make an exchange of vows in our beautiful courtyard garden.
Look how beautiful our main hall can be with your colors and decor and how those massive Spanish Cedar double doors create the most beautiful backdrop for an untraditional foot washing.
The bridal party enters the Main Hall from our convenient Catering Area through a shimmering satin curtain, swept away to one side.
Our room is setup to accommodate a central aisle either with seating for family and friends on either side or a few chairs for immediate family with guests seated at their tables.
