I want you to live your wedding day - like really LIVE it. Dive in, soak it up, and lose yourself in it. And while you're doing that I'll be creating a rad set of wedding photographs driven by the real, honest moments that unfold naturally when you are left to live and experience your time freely with friends and family.

Not one to hide in a corner and work as an outsider, I put my open personality and sense of humor to full use to make quick friends of you and your family, and to break down any barriers to authenticity. My documentary, photojournalism-focused work will ensure that your wedding photographs reflect you and those around you - rich in depth, character and personality. We're going to have a blast together, and you're going to love your pictures.

I live in Fresno with my incredible wife Leslie, and our two wonderful children - Jack and Merrill.
We're accompanied by our two dogs; a Pit-Something-or-Other bundle of electricity, love, and affection named Scout and a Labrador-Doesn't-Retriever-Anything-Mutt named Kona whose idea of a good time is a long nap before a good night's sleep.
I can be wildly sarcastic and I have a quick sense of humor that makes me a fast maker of friends.
This is important because we're going to be together a lot, but you're going to laugh, we're going to have fun, your friends are going to be my friends, and your parents are going to love me.
Funny story, when Lexington and Jared started looking for a wedding venue, Lexington's mom (or someone in the family) said "Why don't we just make a venue?" and so they bought a farm!
It was a very, very cool spot and I hope it comes about to be a full wedding venue in Fresno because it has sooooo much going for it!
Aside from the venue, Lexi and Jared were so sweet, so fun, and everyone one of their family members and wedding party were engaged and ready to celebrate.
Check out some my favorites.
When Cristina got in touch with me, I was super stoked.
I photographed her brother's wedding a few years ago, and a few other relatives and friends in between and excited to get back to Chowchilla and see everyone again.
In the spirit of beating the heat, we headed up towards Shaver Lake to a little grove of Giant Sequoias followed by some time in the meadows along the road.
Even though it was late summer down in the valley, it was cool and spring like in the mountains.
To top it all off, the light was absolutely magical due to a forest fire many miles away.
Here is a senior session from downtown Fresno.
Kylee graduates from Central this year - go Grizzlies!
So, as life gets busy for the seniors around the valley, with finals, prom, and graduation, I hope you take a little break to peek at a selection of my favorites from an evening spent enjoying the textures and colors downtown!
Mikala is graduating this year and I was really happy to work with her for her senior portraits.
She's the niece of our very good friends Matt & Polly who's wedding I shot last year.
Daily family life is full of crazy, silly, and joyful chaos, and when I'm working with a family that's what I strive to immortalize in photographs.
If you're looking for someone to get your 3 year old to sit still and throw a perfect smile at the camera, sorry, I'm probably not your guy*, but if you're ready for a bunch of fooling around, playing, tickling, giggling, HUGS! and generally leaving a mess of personality all over, let's talk!.
I want to see everyone's character, quirks, and spirit shining through full blast.
