A Moment Of Time Photography

We provide portrait services for individuals, couples, and families in the home, around the home, at private property arranged by the client, and at public venues.
We offer both formal portraiture and environmental portraiture.
Formal portraiture are portraits that provides a neutral pattern or an abstract pattern.
The portrait to the right is a basic formal portrait.
As you can see the background is selected to complement the subjects coloring and clothing.
We have a variety of colors and patterns for backgrounds to choose from.

We have an initial meeting to schedule the pre-sitting consultation as well as discuss the sitting agreement and deal with the deposit (non-refundable) for the sitting.
We will also discuss formal portraiture vs. environmental portraiture and your preference.
About one week before the scheduled sitting we will meet in your home to discuss clothing recommendations, and view the areas that you wish to be photographed if we are doing an environmental portrait.
It is required to allow the photography to evaluate the equipment needs to provide the best possible portraits and proper lighting of the environment.

The client will need to provide contact information for the property owner (or their legal representative) so that our staff can discuss any details of the portrait shoot on their property.
About one week before the scheduled sitting we will meet to discuss clothing recommendations, confirm the location, and arrival time.
With this type of shoot it is also required a member of our staff speaks directly with the property owner (or their legal representative) at or prior to this meeting to confirm permission to access their property for the purpose of the scheduled portrait photography.

We provide on-site portrait photography at dances, parties and other events.
On site portraiture usually consists of a predefined package of prints that are ordered at the event.
We work with the event planner to determine the print package that will be offered.
Additional prints of any size or style are always available from us at normal prices.
We are willing to work with non-profit organizations to provide portraits at their fundraising events and provide the non-profit with a portion of the net profits from our activities at the time of the event.

We provide photography services for weddings, handfastings and commitment ceremonies.
We understand that different religions have different ceremonies and that each person that officiates at these events has their personal set of rules that photographers are expected to follow.
With this in mind, we talk to the couple and the person officiating to be certain that everyone has a clear understanding of what is acceptable to photograph and what is not to be photographed.
Our Standard Wedding Package allows the couple the most flexibility with the photographers and allows for scheduling a photographer on other days near the time of the wedding for events like the practice dinner, etc.
