We work as a team. The blend of masculine and feminine is a wedding day plus and kids love it when I tickle James for a laugh. Our end goals are feel-good experiences and stunning photography. Weddings: All things weddings around the Charleston area (Historic Downtown Charleston, Kiawah, Seabrook, Mount Pleasant, IOP and occasionally Columbia, Litchfield, Pawleys and Savannah).

Portraits: Solo portraits, small families and extended family groupings became an organic evolution as our wedding clients became parents. We lean toward natural settings from beaches, parks, streets of downtown, family homes and horse pastures. The Lowcountry is our playground and we are happy to offer location suggestions. Events: Local non-profits, museums and festivals are creative cross-training for us photographically.

Documenting exhibit openings, visiting artist, lectures, camps and even concerts for the Gibbes Museum keeps our eyes, ears and inner artists on our toes. Side-note.if it is horse related or dance related, the answer is Yes!
Services
The Lowcountry is our photography playground.
We are lucky to have an abundance of venues that range from places of worship, hotels, parks, resorts and beaches to fit almost any style or whimsy between Charleston, Kiawah, Seabrook, IOP, Summerville, Daniels Island and Mount Pleasant.
Over the years, clients have expanded our horizons to all of the beauty that exists beyond downtown Charleston and surrounding islands.
Usually it is a previous bride's sister or relative that we can't resist.
Thanks to our awesome couples, we now love Litchfield and Pawleys Island.
Charleston is a number one destination wedding location.
The food is delicious.
The people are kind.
The streets are charming.
And it is an experience.
The hardest part is narrowing the umpteenth stunning street scenes to utilize as photographic backdrops while honoring the time line so you get to eat warm food and celebrate with your guests.
We take into account the light and locations as we come up with a photographic plan for your day.

For engaged couples, sessions are a great opportunity to get comfortable with us and being in front of the camera.
With enough time, images can be used for Save-the-Dates, wedding websites or Thank You cards.
Finally, they are fun and are photo-gems.
We like to pick an area where we can stroll to incorporate various Southern vignettes.
Best way to pick our start spot is to give us three favorite elements such as grand oaks, wrought iron and exposed brick houses.
From there we can put together a walk and create images that best suits you.
Each elopement has a unique flow.
Some elopements are getting ready, vows, champagne, stroll and a slice of cake.
While others are vows and some lovely imagery.
We have favorite officiants and ministers in town that personalize a heart-felt ceremony.
Others have done the legal bit in their home town and choose to speak their words one-on-one.
If you are familiar with Charleston, let us know how you see the day unfolding.
If you are needing direction, we are happy to learn about who you are and then offer some suggestions.
